The Interior Ministry has shown that 16 arrests have now been made in connection with the racist abuse directed by Englands players on Monday.
The European Qualifier was stopped twice because of racist chanting from house supporters as his players believed walking off the pitch throughout the 6-0 victory in Sofia and Gareth Southgate.
On Wednesday, the Interior Ministry said six individuals had been detained by them – and work was ongoing to determine different participants.
UEFA has begun disciplinary actions against Bulgaria at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in the aftermath of the struggle.
Meanwhile, FIFA say they areclosely monitoring the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) after the resignation of its president, after the events on Monday.
Bulgarias captain Ivelin Popov said that he wasashamed by what occurred, while their trainer Krasimir Balakov apologised to the England team for the racist taunts, following the game.
Gareth Southgate maintained he wasproud of his staff and players for the way they conducted themselves during the European Qualifier, amid the difficult conditions.
