After winning the Thai Grand Prix on Sunday, hondas Marc Marquez is now defended his MotoGP world championship title.
As he completed ahead of Ducati rival Andrea Dovizioso, having opened on the 28, the Spanish riders won the title with four races to spare.
The race finished with a thrilling final horn as Marquez overtook Fabio Quartararo in the last corner to clinch the title.
Marquezs triumph is his fourth MotoGP championship along with his sixth in complete – two riders have won.
Giacomo Agostini won eight titles between 1966-1975 and Valetino Rossi has won seven, along with his last title coming back in 2009.
The 26-year-old has won eight of the 15 races this year and is on track to attain his greatest MotoGP points score with four Grand Prixs abandoned in Malaysia, Australia, Japan and Valencia.
Marquez includes in MotoGP with won 53 of his 123 races, finishing on the podium on 91 22, a shocking record.
