Seattle Mariners at Tampa Bay Rays MLB Pick – August 19th

After a we started the month of August outside slowly. But were heating up as we picked up our fourth biggest winner at our five championships. And last nights win came on my favorite kind of winner! We remained hot when we supported the Minnesota Twins against the Texas Rangers, in the street.
When assessing who to bet in my estimation, the general betting public puts. That was the case last night as Lance Lynn, whos having a good season for Texas, pushed this amount towards the Rangers, in spite of the fact that Texas had lost nine out of its last eleven matches, and were a whopping fifteen games back of the Twins entering play.
So, I picked up some wholesome dog cash on the way, and backed the far superior staff, and did everything I love to do, and that is position myself on the side of this overall gaming public. And in the long run, Martin Perez for Minnesota, actually outpitched Lynn within this particular one. Perez tossed five innings of all two-run chunk , while Lynn allowed three earned runs and pitched five innings.
The Twins jumped out to see the Rangers fight back and tie the game up late. However, when Jorge Polanco removed the foundations and crushed a bases-loaded triple at the very top the inning, it put away the game for good for Minnesota. It feels like common sense , to gamble on the group that is better, but as they say, ordinary sense aint all that frequent.
If you find out more areas where you are able to snatch up dog money on a group that is fifteen matches much better than their competitor, you want to jump all over it. For the selection, we visit Tampa Bay in which the Mariners are hosted by the Rays.
Winners of two straight show, Even the Seattle Mariners, visit Tampa Bay Monday for match one of a three-game show. Wins have been hard to come by this season for Seattle since they have endured a number of high impact injuries and traded off just. But they have found a means to win four out of their last six matches also are doing an adequate job of battling here in the dog days of summer.
For Tampa Bay, then theyre attempting to hang on the second wild card in the American League since they have a scant game and a half lead about the Oakland Athletics to the last playoff spot in the league. Since their starting rotation is decimated tampa is suffering through several accidents in their own. That has not slowed them down though as they have won eleven from the last fifteen games.
Starting for the Mariners tonight is the genius, Marco Gonzalez (12-10 4.26 ERA) and for the Rays, it is Brendan McKay (2-2 5.08 ERA). The match total over-under is placed at eight and a half runs. The Rays are all -179 home favorites. First pitch is scheduled for 4:10 PM PST in Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg.
The Tampa Bay Rays slip into the play with no a lot of a starting rotation and are trying to hang . He could be heading straight back to the group shortly, although last years Cy Young Award winner, Blake Snell, is out with an injury. And the Rays will also be enjoying without Tyler Glasnow, that looked for this years Cy Young Award winner prior to heading down earlier this year. The Rays are forced to play without Yonny Chirinos at times and Charlie Morton Also.
But even with all those accidents, the Rays are among the better pitching staffs in the majors that year. The Rays are best three at the sport WHIP, and in earned run average against. While playing from the more hitter-friendly American League, in a branch with the heavy-hitting Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees, and that is. The Rays have a seemingly endless line of fire throwers, and its next guy up every night.
One was rookie Brendan McKay. McKay has been the amount overall draft pick from the 2017 draft also has been on a quick track to the major leagues since. With all the injuries, McKay was introduced to the rotation and immediately showed what he is capable of as he took his introduction start with an ideal match in tow to the sixth inning. He finished that game with six shutout innings, allowing just 1 hit.
Two begins then, he threw five shutout innings against the Baltimore Orioles. Hes had some mixed results in his five begins, but for a guy its more about what hes capable of, instead of what he has actually done. And he is certainly capable of being a top of the rotation sort of guy as he has all of the makings of the All-Star at just twenty-three years.
The Seattle Mariners do have a genius at this time, however Marco Gonzalez has done an adequate job of faking it this season. Gonzalez has turned into the shoes of King Felix at Seattle and has been the Mariners opening day this season. And through April he appeared every bit the part because he had been 5-0 with a 2.80 ERA. But things have been for its draft pick.
It is not when he cries, that Marco has been that bad, hes been decent, it is that the Mariners do not appear to score runs. With only five runs of support total, he has been provided by this Mariners lineup Inside his three August begins. That is just within a streak and a half game. Not even King Felix in his prime, was going to win games with that kind of run service!
This game will be low scoring. The Mariners are dead last in the majors in runs scored because the trade deadline, along with the Rays are better since theyre in 23rd. Both these teams simply dont score a whole lot of runs, and they have good starters on the mound. Yeah, McKay was inconsistent but if you are going to have a really terrific outing, pitching against a Seattle team which has a lineup that is triple-A will help.
So they need to be rested as a whole match threw and when you look at that Mariners bullpen, they have off last night. The Rays? They got the lowest team ERA in the game from August, along with their bullpen was great. I think this one goes beneath tonight. If not for the pitching, because of its absence of hitting. Feels like 4-1 Tampa Bay should you want my opinion. Give me the under eight and a half runs in game 1!
